The teleconference provided background information on why it is important to document results of employment for homeless people; described the homeless assistance system and the mainstream system of workforce development, both of which fund and deliver employment services for homeless people; highlighted basic principles and practices behind successful employment programs; examined how homeless and mainstream systems define and document success; and explored successful collaborations between the two systems.
