Abstract:

This guide is designed for HUD staff or contracted consultants to use in presentations to providers about the design and implementation of Continuum of Care (CoC) systems. The trainer guide is accompanied by overheads and talking points for the trainer�s use. The presentation provides an overview of the CoC, outlines the planning cycle, discusses data collection and inventory methods, suggests strategies for determining unmet needs in a CoC, and provides various case studies to contextualize the information. It was developed with a companion set of reference materials and worksheets.
