Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs): Detail

Question:

An applicant notes that a particular FMR area is not listed in e-snaps. What should the applicant do?

Answer:

All FMR areas are listed, but some are hard to find. For example, metro areas are listed by associated states in alphabetical order. This means that metro areas that overlap states may not be listed where you would expect to find them. Examples of this include Philadelphia (listed under Delaware), Louisville (listed under Indiana), Norfolk (listed under North Carolina), and St. Louis (listed under Illinois). Also, if you serve a county and you don't see it listed, then you are probably in a metro area.
