Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR): An Introduction to the Data Collection Process

Description

This webinar will introduce communities to the AHAR data collection process, including key terms and dates, and a brief overview of the Homelessness Data Exchange (HDX). This webinar is intended for communities and staff who have never provided usable data to the AHAR.

The webinar is limited to 1,000 participants and does not have prerequisites.

Webinar materials will be posted to the webinar’s Resource Abstract page as they become available.

*NOTE - This is the first webinar hosted via HUD’s HRE Learning Management System (LMS) and requires users to register for the LMS before they can register for this webinar. See instructions below.*

Registering for the Webinar

First, select the “Register Now” link above. Then,

If you have not yet registered for the HRE Learning Management System (LMS):

1. Select the New Account link;

2. Fill in the required fields and then select Create Account to create an LMS user profile;

3. You will be brought directly to the Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR): An Introduction to the Data Collection Process webinar page. In addition, two emails containing your username and password will be sent to your email. Please keep these for future use;

4. Select Enroll in this Class on the lower right-hand corner of the page;

5. Note: You are not yet registered for the webinar. Select the Webinar Registration link under “ILT Sessions” and complete the information that is requested on the webinar registration page.

If you have registered for the HRE Learning Management System:

1. Enter your Username and Password; select Enter

2. You will be brought directly to the Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR): An Introduction to the Data Collection Process webinar page; select Enroll in this Class on the lower right hand side of the page.

3. Note: You are not yet registered for the webinar. Select the Webinar Registration link under “ILT Sessions” and complete the information that is requested on the webinar registration page.

Additional Instructions

Additional instructions and screenshots are available in the HRE Learning Management System Registration and Login User Guide. After you have successfully registered for the Learning Management System, you can register for upcoming webinars, enroll in past webinars or trainings, and mark trainings or webinars as “complete” by following the instructions outlined in the HRE Learning Management System Finding, Enrolling, Taking, & Completing a Course User Guide which is available in the FAQ section of the Learning Management System.
