HUD Notices & Application Resources

• October 9, 2008: HUD Notice informing applicants that the new deadline for the CoC competition is 4:00 PM (EDT) on October, 23, 2008.
• September 15, 2008: HUD Notice informing applicants of new deadline for the CoC competition and of additional technical corrections.
• 2008 Housing Inventory Chart (e-HIC): Download the e-HIC (Excel file), the e-HIC instructions, and the NEW! e-HIC Supplemental Instructions for the Unmet Need Chart (released August 26, 2008). Complete the e-HIC. When your CoC is ready to complete Exhibit 1 through e-snaps, you will upload the Excel file into e-snaps. Instructions on when and how to upload the file into e-snaps will be available at a later date.
• August 13, 2008: HUD Notice that details technical corrections to the 2008 CoC NOFA and the application deadline for the CoC competition.
• 2008 CoC NOFA and Application Broadcast Slides: On Thursday, July 24, HUD delivered a live Webcast on the 2008 Continuum of Care (CoC) Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). The Webcast (and presentation slides) include information on the 2008 CoC NOFA and explains how to use the new e-snaps system to submit an application. (To view the Webcast you may need to download RealPlayer which is available at http://www.hud.gov/webcasts/realinst.cfm).
• July 10, 2008: The NOFA containing the application instructions for the CoC homeless assistance programs.
• April 29, 2008: HUD Notice of FY2008 Opportunity to Register and Other Important Information for Electronic Application Submission for Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance Programs.
• CoC Registration Broadcast Presentation Slides: On April 22, 2008, HUD held a satellite broadcast to describe the 2008 application process and required registration steps. The broadcast provides an introduction to the e-snaps online registration system, an overview of the 2008 estimated timeline, and information regarding e-snaps training. (To view the Webcast you may need to download RealPlayer which is available at http://www.hud.gov/webcasts/realinst.cfm).
• March 19, 2008: NOFA Policy Requirements and General Section to HUD's FY2008 NOFA for Discretionary Programs.

Continuum of Care Electronic Application Site

e-snaps Application! HUD unveiled a new electronic application for the 2008 Continuum of Care (CoC) competition through a new online system, called e-snaps. Please note the deadline for this application was on October 23, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. EST. At this time, the e-snaps system is not available.
