Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) – Regional Training Registration is Open!

On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which includes $1.5 billion for a Homelessness Prevention Fund to be used for homeless prevention and rapid re-housing activities. HUD is sponsoring 9 regional trainings to allow HPRP grantees and subgrantees to hear HUD’s expectations for HPRP, learn more information about program requirements, participate in active dialogue with HUD and their peers, and hear from communities that have experience implementing homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing programs. Pre-registration for the regional training is required. Visit the HPRP registration site to register for a session near you.
